Pray the Stations of the Cross with the Claretians at the National Shrine of the St. Jude in Chicago

I received this email earlier today and would like to share the invitation with every person I can:

Join us in praying the Stations of the Cross

Dear Friend of St. Jude,

This week, our Lenten journey culminates in Holy Week and the Easter Triduum. These sacred days are the most solemn and joyous of the Church year.

For Good Friday, follow Jesus along the Way of the Cross by praying the Stations of the Cross online. This presentation features the Way of the Cross at the Claretians’ National Shrine of St. Jude in Chicago. The object of the Stations is to help the faithful to make a spiritual pilgrimage of prayer, through meditating upon the scenes of Christ’s sufferings.

We encourage you to download this Stations of the Cross slide show and share it with your family and friends on your website, blog or social networking profile, such as Facebook or Twitter.

Praying the Stations of the Cross is a beautiful tradition. This prayer is a very personal way to accompany Jesus during his loneliest and most difficult hours on earth—his passion and death.

Please know that the Claretians pray with and for you each day. May God bless you.

Yours in Easter hope,

I took the liberty of embedding the video below as well as posting it on the upper left corner of the my blogger blog. Let us all take a moment out of our day to walk with Our Blessed Lord in a celebration of the Cross that saves.
